Using the Bhim app, both sending and receiving money can be done by who ever has a UPI linked bank account

Earlier UPI was introduced by national payment corporation of India and Reserve Bank Of India in 2016 but haven't got much attention.

Bhim app is equal to Apple pay and Google wallet and has a secure library in common. The app lets individuals make transactions without the help of a third party.

Lately it was reported that Bhim app is now facing intermittent issues due to heavy server load. In fact, one curious error is that if you do a transaction to your own account number, your account gets debited and credited rather than showing an error message.

This shows how nonchalantly functional testing is done.

Officials have already explained the situation and has promised an updated version of the app at the earliest.
